June 7th & June 21st: Esoteric Study Group:
Wanting to learn more about esoteric ways of life but unsure where to start?
Come to our bookstore’s esoteric study group on Wednesdays.
Classes start at 5:30 PM and are led by Dean Smith.
Dean Smith has been studying esoteric spirituality for over 10 years and is a longtime member and leader of several Western esoteric and fraternal communities. He is an Archdruid and head of the Druidical Order of the Golden Dawn. The Golden Dawn/Druid Revival Order is an order that teaches ritual and ceremonial magic, meditation, and divination. Dean Smith is currently working on a book in that tradition. He is also a 32nd-degree Freemason (Grand Lodge of the state of California, and Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction), as well as a Bardic Grade member of the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids.
June 3rd: Geomancy Readings with Dean Smith
Dean Smith will be leading free geomancy readings from 2-5 PM
Walk-ins are accepted.
Geomancy is a method of divination that interprets markings on the ground or on a geomantic shield or house chart by the patterns formed by tossed handfuls of soil, rocks, sand, dice, or other methods. The most prevalent form of divinatory geomancy involves interpreting a series of 16 geomantic figures formed by a randomized process that involves recursion, followed by analyzing them, often augmented with astrological and or elemental interpretations.
